My work concerns the analysis of the largest metropolises of the world and their development throughout history.

The aspect of cosmopolitan cities that I am mostly interested in is urbanization and mass migration, as a consequence of a globalized world.

In my paintings I attempt to convey this phenomenon, which now concerns most of the world’s population, through an iconography that embeds images of maps and statistics showing different data concerning urban growth.

I therefore collect visual information from different sources, elaborate and personalize it into creating an aesthetic that is harmonic and delicate, which contrasts the cold images of graphs.
